I have been creating wood sculptures for 8+ years. I create larger sculptures using chainsaws and other power tools and I create hand carved driftwood carvings and woodspirits. I use a variety of wood types. I  also make wood keepsake boxes out of colorful woods using a bandsaw and I recently started making breadboards and bow bread knives also with a bandsaw.  A few years  ago I began wood turning which allows me to create wine stoppers from exotic woods and other turned objects.  I live in Avon, Indiana, which is just west of Indianapolis.

I completed 5 classes in Chainsaw Carving at the Smokey Mountain School of Woodcarving in Townsend, Tennessee.  I also completed a woodturning class at the Indianapolis Art Center.  I am actively involved in the Womens Woodworking Guild of Indiana where I have also learned many new skills.

By using the buttons above, this web site will display pictures of carvings and other pieces of art that I have created. You will also see stump carvings that I created at customers homes as well as huge oak carvings that I created in front of my home. You will also see my keepsake boxes, breadboards and bread knives and bottle stoppers.  Thanks for checking out my carvings!!
